About the Estate
The Kelling Estate dates back to 1913 and once belonged to Dutch oil industrialist, Sir Henri Deterding. The estate is set within 2,300 acres and was designed to be the finest sporting estate in Norfolk. It features the magnificent grade II listed mansion, Kelling Hall, as well as various cottages and outbuildings which have now been lovingly converted into the unique self-catering properties you see today.
The Kelling Estate acquired The Pheasant hotel in November 2012. Completely refurbished in March 2013, the hotel has 30 fantastic en-suite double bedrooms, two dining rooms, an amazing orangery for casual dining, and a bar and gardens for afternoon tea or lunch.
Holt Garden Centre
The Holt Garden Centre is situated on the northern edge of the estate and offers a wide range of garden plants, wildlife feeds, gifts and more. There is also a lovely café where you can enjoy cake and coffee, lunch ,or afternoon tea.
